Lingfield Tip: Intisaab
Ran a 21.57s closing sectional over course and distance and can profit from a pace collapse despite the draw.
Regular readers will know i’m a sucker for a fast closing sectional and I cannot desert Intisaab in the 2.00 Lingfield. There is an element of heart at play because the likes of Pretend and Tryster have had such an impact on my punting life but i’m close to putting Intisaab into that bracket.
The now 7-year-old has run some blistering sectionals including a 21.57s over course and distance in November and a 22.82 at Wolverhampton in December. The speed ratings have been good but the turn of foot he’s shown has been devastating. He needs luck in running but he’s got the finishing burst to win a big race at Lingfield.
Kimberella is the big danger from a better draw if stepping up on his Wolverhampton form but Intisaab has been so good this winter I cannot desert him on his big day even from a mediocre draw .
