Brings different form to the table from the three main protagonists. Race wasn't run to suit last time; quickened off steady gallop to earn adjusted speed rating of 81, above his current mark.
James Street, Deep Intrigue and K Club finished closer to each other 12 days ago at Kempton and the question is whether something else can get amongst them and the answer is yes.
Beleaguerment is the lowest rated horse in the field but he is potentially well handicapped. He was beaten a neck over course and distance last time out but the winner got first run on.
Beleaguerment did very well to quicken into an accelerating gallop and his fast closing sectional earned him an adjusted speed rating of 81. If Deep Intrigue sets a good pace, like he did at Kempton this could set up for Archie Watson’s charge.
