Lingfield Tip: Art Nouvelle
Looked a useful sprinter during the spring. Lost his way but shaped with plenty of promise on return from a 4-month layoff.
Art Nouvelle makes his UK debut in the 3.30 Lingfield and if recapturing his early season form he would have a massive chance. During the spring he was consistently earning Racing Post Ratings in the mid-80s. Something went wrong during the summer because three poor runs were followed by a 4-month layoff but if connections have fixed the problem, he could gobble up a class 5 handicap.
Last time out he finished 8/14 at Dundalk but it was a fair performance after a long break and he was only beaten 5.25 lengths from a poor draw. He ran the fifth fastest closing sectional in the race, hinting at the ability he’d shown previously and has the eye-catching booking of Adam Kirby.
