Finished ahead of Black Hill Storm at Catterick over the weekend. Ran faster closing sectional and overall time of the race was good, should confirm the placings.
Shamlaan and Black Hill Storm ran each other close when placing at Catterick over the weekend and if that race hasn’t left any lasting effects they should go close again. Of the pair Shamlaan looks the better bet.
He carries much less weight and was clearly ahead at the line. He ran the faster closing sectional (not advantaged or disadvantaged by pace of race) and the overall speed rating was very good.
