Lingfield: Dream By Day

Has won twice in nine starts but still well handicapped off a mark of 74. Drawn wide and paid the price at Wolverhampton but strong closing sectional suggests there is more to come.

Dream By Day is still unexposed after just 9 runs and it probably a bit better than a mark of 74. He won for John Gosden at Yarmouth with a good speed rating and scored on his second start for new connections at Nottingham.

Last time out he finished fifth at Wolverhampton but was drawn wide and didn’t get the clearest of runs. Adam Kirby wasn’t harsh on his mount once the win had gone and his closing sectional suggests he would have been in the mix if better positioned. He’s a strong traveller who I think will be suited to the all-weather and looks a fair price.
