Lingfield: Breath Of Sun
Impressive closing sectionals helped produce two good wins over course and distance. Couldn't live with Dragon Symbol at Kempton but is worth giving another go.
Early into the new year, I was getting quite exciting by Breath Of Sun. He won both his starts over course and distance and good times became excellent when factoring fast closing sectionals.
He was relatively well fancied on handicap debut at Kempton but was beaten 6 lengths into third. I was disappointed by that effort but the winner, Dragon Symbol turned out to be one of the best 3-year-old sprinters in the country!
I’m therefore more willing to forgive Breath Of Sun that effort and is well drawn at a track he clearly enjoys. His handicap mark is workable and he is given a chance to redeem himself.
