Ran a fast time when losing maiden tag at Wolverhampton in a race that has worked out well. The third, fifth and sixth placed horses have won since and a mark of 80 look lenient on that effort.
The temptation is to have five or six bets today but so many of my tracker horses are up against each-other you end up cannibalising what could be a good bet. However, the best of the bunch is Aasser with an opening mark of 80 that looks very lenient.
His win at Wolverhampton on 27 December looks strong with the third, fifth and sixth placed horses all subsequently winning. In victory I gave Aasser and adjusted speed rating of 78 but he was comfortable and can clearly go much quicker; that suggests he’s more of a 90 horse than an 80 horse.
