Kempton Tip: Sir Rodneyredblood

David Probert misjudged the pace last time out and went too quick in first half of race. Finishing speed was 96% of overall speed and Sir Rodneyredblood tired badly. Room for improvement.

There is not much to get excited about in the 5.45 Kempton from a quality point of view but connections will by hoping Sir Rodneyredblood runs better under a change of tactics. David Probert got the fractions wrong last time out, he went too quick early in the race and Sir Rodneyredblood tired badly in the final 3f. His finishing speed was 96.4% of the overall speed; he covered the first half of the race in 36.27s, that puts him in the fastest 15% early splits over 6f.

Given the misjudgement of pace he still managed to finish fifth and was only beaten 7.5 lenghts. Tom Queally takes the ride and if connections have discussed tactics, then we could see an improved performance.
