I’m a big fan of Island Of Life and I believe there is plenty more to come from the 4-year-old. Her three all-weather starts have all come with blistering closing sectionals and she finalyl delivered the win when stepped up to 6f at Newcastle. Not only has she run fast splits, she run good overall times and passes the eye-test.
Since moving to William Haggas she has finished 431323251 and her last two runs have come since wind surgery, another logical reason for her progression. A mark of 89 under-sells her talent, I think she can reach triple figures especially if campaigned over 6f.
