Kempton Tip: Bryn Du
Finished third in above average race for the grade at Newcastle, earning adjusted speed rating of 61 in defeat. On paper this is a weaker race and one he should win.
Bryn Du might have been favoured by racing near the stand’s side at Newcastle but the form of the race looks strong and deserves to be a short price favourite for the 5.30 Kempton.
He tracked a strong pace and was one of the few to battle Idoapologise, losing second as a result. The winner is clearly progressive and the runner-up has won since therefore Bryn Du was racing in good company.
In defeat he earned and adjusted speed rating of 61, far better than anything else in today’s field has achieved. Jockey, trainer and form are all big positives and he should run well.
