Kempton Tip: Athassel

Athassel needs luck in running and will require a pace to aim at from stall 11 but he’s a regular winner on the all-weather (8/44) and is off an attractive looking mark. Last time out he was the second fastest closer over 7f at Kempton and quickened well up the home straight. In defeat he earned a sectional adjusted rating of 52 and although not amazing, it’s good enough for this grade.

Katherine Begley has struck up a good rapport with the 9-year-old winning 4/15 starts. Horse and yard and in both decent enough form and the price makes the trio worth the risk.
