Haydock: Silver Samurai
Did exceptionally well to reel in Indian Creak at Newbury. Long time leader got a soft lead but Silver Samurai ran a blistering closing sectional to win catch the leader, whilst pulling clear of pack.
Silver Samurai has only recently turned his hand to sprinting but he looks a horse to follow and potentially a Wokingham one at that. With a rating of 92 he might need another win to get into the race and he can get that penalty at Haydock today.
Last time out he did very well to reel in Indian Creak who got an easy lead and set steady sectionals. Silver Samurai covered the final 3f almost 0.5s quicker than anything else and came from last to first to snatch victory. In the process the pair pulled 3 length clear of the pack. It was a superb performance and the grey should be seen to even better effect tracking a strong gallop.
