Verdict: Best form is on soft ground and unlikely to get that at Aintree. However, he finished third in the RSA Chase back in 2015 and there have been glimmers of that talent since. Sixth place at Gowran Park in January is fair form and wasn’t far behind fellow National runners, Ucello Conti, Pleasant Company and Rogue Angel.
