Goodwood Tips: Jadanna

It should be fast and furious in the Molecomb Stakes at 3.45 Goodwood and despite losing on her last two starts Jadanna is the horse to side with.

In her four races to date, all she has done is improve.

20th June = 92
13th July = 102

This seems logical given that two-year-olds should get quicker as they grow and mature through the season. However, many juveniles plateau after their early excursions and this seems the case with Hototo, Dylanbaru and Lyric Ace.

All three feature prominently in the betting yet their profiles don’t seem nearly as progressive:

On their last starts none were able to better their season’s best performances. According to ratings, Jadanna has improved past them and might still get better.

The fly in the ointment is the favourite Morawij, who has run to a rating of 101 on his last two starts. However, at 2/1 he does not offer much value, especially compared to Jadanaa, who at 11/2 (Bet365) is available at almost three times the price.
