Goodwood Tip: Lutine Bell

Lutine Bell has strung together a run of consistent efforts and can take the 4.55 at Goodwood. Since switching to Mike Murphy last November, the horse has produced three performances I would consider good enough to take a race of this calibre.

Last time out in a competitive handicap he came from last to second, failing to get up by ¾ of a length. Faced with a wall of horses the jockey was forced to wait longer than he would have liked. With better luck he could have won the race.

Although Lutine Bell has been contesting sprints, he has won over seven furlongs before so the step up in trip is not a worry. He has run well at Goodwood already this season and should be in the shake up again.
