Goodwood Tip: Harbour Watch

One of the best two-year-olds around. Simple as that.

The Richmond Stakes at 3.45 is when I expect Harbour Watch to stake his claim as the best juvenile in the country; that is how highly I rate this horse. Having won the race three times in a row, trainer Richard Hannon has a horse to make up for the disappointment of Canford Cliffs.

In his last race Harbour Watch demolished Burwaaz by 4.5 lengths. The way he quickened away from him in the last furlong was frightening. Burwaaz franked the form by running a blinder in the Molecomb on Tuesday, the fastest two-year-old time run at Goodwood in the last 15 years.

With an abundance of future engagements, including the Group One Dewhurst, connections obviously rate this horse as highly as I do.
