Marcus Tregoning won this race last year and follows same path with Olivetti. Ran well in hot novices race at Newbury despite blowing the start and pulling hard. Will be better for experience.
Marcus Tregoning won this race last year with Alkumait and he is represented by Olivetti, who has followed exactly the same path. He finished 6th on debut at Newbury in a strong novices contest and is better than the bare finishing positions having dwelt at the start and then pulled very hard early on.
He’ll need to break on terms and handles the heavy conditions but he’s shown enough promise to make himself a contender.
