Goodwood: Equality
Has been running well in some of the top 5f, sprint handicaps. Hasn't enjoyed the best of draws recently but was travelling noticeably strongly at Ascot when forced to race away from the action.
Equality is a horse i’ve been backing all season and he is capable of taking a big sprint handicap like this. Last time out he finished 12th at Ascot but he was badly drawn and raced away from the action. Under the circumstances he did well to finish only 3.75 lengths behind the winner and was travelling notably well for most of the race.
Previously he finished third in the Epsom Dash, again when drawn away from the action and he clocked a big speed rating when winning at Windsor. He brings the best form into the race and has been eased a couple of pounds too.
