Diamond Jubilee Tip: Dream Of Dreams

Kept hitting the crossbar in Group company but is 2/2 this season and has improved over the winter. Beat The Tin Man with the fastest closing sectional recorded at Windsor in 2019.

Dream Of Dreams kept banging his head on the door in Group company last season but he’s improved over the winter and that might be enough to see him breakthrough at the top-level. He is 2/2 this season and was mightily impressive in winning his prep run at Windsor.

Restrained behind a steady gallop it looked like Ryan Moore was not going to get through, The Tin Man arguably got a better run, but when the gap came Dream Of Dreams quickened up readily to win with plenty to spare. His closing sectional was 0.15s faster than that of The Tin Man, a good yardstick for Group 1 sprinters.

Dream Of Dreams covered the final 3.38f in 36.75s and nothing has covered that distance quicker at Windsor this season (from 632 runners). In an open looking race he is underrated by the layers.
