Chepstow Tips: Alaadel
Late onto a racecourse but half-brother to the stable's high class Mutakayyef and impressive winner on debut at Doncaster last month.
Alaadel falls into the ‘could be anything category’. He didn’t see a racecourse until he was a 4-year-old but one thing i’m certain of - he’s better than a mark of 77.
His belated race course debut came at Doncaster last month and he travelled like a decent horse. He quickened off a solid gallop and was well on top despite the narrow margin of victory, possibly idling once in front.
A half-brother to the stable’s high class Mutakayyef he could be a smart horse and i was impressed by the way he carried 9-12 in heavy going, something he is likely to face again at Chepstow.
The opposition in the 7.15 contest don’t look up to much and this looks a penalty kick for Alaadel.
