Chepstow Tip: Coase

It’s not easy winning a Novice race with a penalty but Coase should be more than 7lbs better than his rivals. There is a certain amount of guess work when it comes to judging his unraced rivals but there aren’t any ‘big’ stables in opposition. Even if there is a good unraced horse they will have to go some to beat Hugo Palmer’s colt. 

He ran a huge speed figure on debut at Carlisle, went missing at Royal Ascot but bounced back with another good performance at Chester. He cut out the running in a better race and rather set it up for National League to come from 8 lengths off the pace.

Weaker opposition and a more conservative ride, should see him home.
