Cheltenham Betting: Recession Proof Lives up to his Name

With only a handful of weeks before Cheltenham opportunities to move the antepost markets are becoming few and far between. One horse to make the most of his recent run was Recession Proof who won the rearranged Totesport Trophy on Friday. The John Quinn novice travelled well for most of the way only to be put under severe pressure in the last 200 yards from Bothy.

The five year was all out to seal his third win in four hurdle races and become a real contender for the Supreme Novices Hurdle. The post race 20/1 offered by Boylesports didn’t last very long and he is now a 10/1 chance with most bookmakers.
