Chelmsford Tip: Wiff Waff
Has won at this trip and in this grade before. Finished third over course and distance in a better grade after fluffing the start. If he gets away on level terms he'll be thereabouts at the end.
The 12 runners lining up for the 8.15 Chelmsford don’t bring a huge amount of quality form with them but you suspect one of the 3-year-olds will have enough up their sleeve to take this.
Wiff Waff already has three wins to his name, two on the all-weather and conditions should suit him. All his wins have come at the minimum trip and he was slightly unlucky when third over course and distance in August.
Restless in the stalls, he got away slowly and that ultimately cost him the race. He was the fastest closer but came from too far back. That was in a class 3 handicap and if he can break on terms he should go close.
