Chelmsford Tip: Uncle Jerry

Consistent sort on the all-weather who is 1/1 over course and distance. Is 11lbs lower than when he finished his winter campaign and that seems generous given he doesn't act as well on turf.

Uncle Jerry is a regular on the all-weather scene and looks set for another long winter campaign. Despite being a 3-year-old he already has 18 starts on the all-weather under his belt and we can start to draw trends from his performances.

Most recently he’s been racing over 7f but these potentially served as prep-runs because I believe 6f is his optimal trip. When racing at 6f on the all-weather his record is 3261323238; he is ultra-consistent and he was only beaten 2.25 lengths when finishing 8th!

Uncle Jerry is a previous course and distance winner and having finished the last all-weather season rated 84, the handicapper generously lets him race off 73, the drop based on turf performances (where he is 0/7).
