Chelmsford Tip: Saaheq
Mick Appleby's yard in excellent form, running at 22% strike-rate (5/23) in last 14 days. Saaheq previous course and distance winner and lightly raced enough to think he's still on upgrade.
Saaheq was a convincing winner over course and distance last time out and in the same grade he should defy his 6lbs rise. Since moving to Michael Appleby he is 3/7 and this lightly raced individual still has the scope to win above a mark of 85.
Last time out he came through to win by 2 lengths, registering the fastest closing sectional despite not getting a clear run. He has been well placed by his shrewd connections and whilst the yard are in such good form (5 winners from 23 runners in last fortnight), Saaheq is the type of horse you want onside.
