Chelmsford Tip: Rosina
Just failed to get up after running a rapid closing sectional, making up 7 lengths in 3f on eventual winner. Adjusted sectional speed rating of 86 puts her firmly in the mix.
Rosina ran a cracker in defeat last time out and she looks a winner in waiting. Around Kempton’s sharp 5f oval she simply ran out of track, finishing a rapidly diminishing short-head behind Glamorous Rocket.
The moderate early gallop, didn’t set the race up for her deep closing style and despite making up over 7.15 lengths on the eventual winner, she couldn’t quite get up on the line. Her closing sectional was the fastest in the race and she earned a sectional adjusted speed rating of 86.
That is good enough a class 4 handicap and she’s won in this grade before, including over course and distance.
