Chelmsford Tip: Restless Rose
Impressive over course and distance in December, setting strong early gallop and maintaining it with fastest closing sectional. Poor performance last time but profile is of a decent sprinter.
Restless Rose doesn’t have many miles on the clock but already has a couple of wins to her name, including over course and distance last December. She was an impressive winner that day, setting a strong gallop and going away from the field with the fastest sectional. Two run quick at the start and finish of the race is the mark of a decent horse and she should enjoy a return to the Essex venue where her trainer has such a good record.
In opposition both Queen In Waiting and Rose Berry look better suited to the minimum trip, especially Rose Berry who got away with 6f at Kempton after they went no gallop early in the race.
The one danger is Restless Rose’s no show at Windsor last time but she’s bounced back from poor performances before and Stuart Williams wouldn’t be running her if there were lingering concerns.
