Chelmsford Tip: Nag's Wag

Has a good strike rate (7-33) for a horse at this level and can capitalise off a lenient handicap mark. Finished second at start of month so don't have to go too far back to find form.

The 5.35 Chelmsford is not a strong race and at this level attitude counts for a lot, therefore Nag’s Wag should have her supporters. Her strike rate is an impressive 7/33, which improves to 4/10 at class 6 level.

Most of her wins have come in selling/claiming company but she’s off a career low handicap mark and should score soon off 54. Last time she couldn’t get involved from a wide draw but at the start of the month she was only beaten a length by Roy’s Legacy in a decent time for the grade.

Conor Dore has been a big supporter of Hayley Turner and this could be her first win in the UK having come out of retirement.
