Chelmsford Tip: Missy Mischief

Injured when 9th in the 2017 Queen Mary but confirmed her wel-being by winning after a 423-day absence at Doncaster. Trainer has a 33% strike-rate at Chelmsford and has the best draw.

It’s difficult to judge Missy Mischief on her win at Doncaster; visually it was impressive but the time was nothing special instead i’m taking a view of the big picture. Jeremy Noseda’s filly was injured at Royal Ascot when ninth in last year’s Queen Mary. That is a good level of form even before you take into account an injury which might have hampered her during the late stages of the contest. Her win at Doncaster confirmed her well being - no more than that and to judge her ability we have to look at Ascot and go from there.

Missy Mischief has the potential to be a 90+ sprinter therefore a mark of 87 underplays her chances and she must be good to win after a 423-day break. In her favour she has the plum draw in stall one and her trainer has an excellent 33% strike-rate at Chelmsford.
