Chelmsford Tip: Harry's Bar
On steep upwards curve and we've probably not seen best of him yet. Last time at Chelmsford he ran the fastest closing sectional seen at the track from the last 770 runners.
Harry’s Bar is unbeaten over the minimum trip on the all-weather and i’m happy to back him at a shade of odds-on to make it 4/4. Last time out he put up a big speed figure (96 pace adjusted) when winning over course and distance and his profile suggests he can go on again.
This is only his 9th start and the small margin of victories suggest he is always doing enough without having to overreach himself. Last time out he clocked 32.98s for the final 3f, the fastest at Chelmsford from the last 770 races and that is despite the early pace being no worse than moderate.
