Chelmsford Tip: Cowboy Soldier

Cowboy Soldier has suffered a few setbacks but he’s a horse held in high regard by Robert Cowell and he’s produced some exciting performances in his young career.

Last time out at Goodwood he got too far back in a race run at an ordinary gallop but came home in a rapid 44.16s, the fastest closing sectional of the race. In defeat he earned a sectional rating of 88 and that is the fifth big speed rating he’s clocked from five runs, getting better every time.

A previous winner on the all-weather he should handle the surface and from a good draw he should be winning esepcialyl with the bonus of Ryan Moore on board.
