Chelmsford Tip: Catheadans Fury
Caused a 50/1 shock last time but quickened off a true gallop with the fastest closing sectional of the race by 0.61s. Clocked a good speed rating for the grade and only up 3lbs.
Catheadans Fury shocked onlookers when she won over course and distance at 50/1 last month but it was no fluke. It was her second win in three starts and and adjusted speed rating of 65 suggests it was a merited victory.
The nine runners went a solid gallop and Catheadans Fury quickened well off; always a good sign when a horse quickens off a proper gallop. Her closing sectional was the fastest in the race by 0.61s and she’s only gone up 3lbs in the handicap as a result. She is lightly raced and potentially much better than her mark.
