Chelmsford Tip: Buxted Dream

Lost his way this season but has some fair 3-year-old form and gets a fresh start with Ian Williams. First start since wind operation and off a career low mark.

Buxted Dream lost his way as a 4-year-old but there are several reasons why he could improve on his recent form. This is his first start since moving to Ian Williams, a trainer who does well with other’s cast-offs and who has an excellent 22% strike-rate at Chelmsford.

Buxted Dream is also having his first run since wind surgery and he races off a career low mark of 70. Go back to his three-year-old form and he is capable of winning this. He ran a good speed figure over 7f at Chelmsford when second to Top Mission in June 2017 and he is still unexposed on the all-weather.

He has won in this grade before and it’s worth taking the chance that he find as spark for new connections.
