Chelmsford: The Perfect Crown

A win at Lingfield in August was achieved in the fastest time from the last 252 runners over course and distance and his quick time was achieved despite an ordinary early gallop.

The Perfect Crown has twice been a wide margin winner on the all-weather and although both came over 7f, it could simply be that he is a smart performer on a synthetic surface.

His win at Lingfield in August was achieved in the fastest time from the last 252 runners over course and distance and his quick time was achieved despite an ordinary early gallop.

I suspect he can run quite a lot faster still and he will need too, raised in grade. Ignore his last run on soft ground at Naas and he looks an exciting prospect.
