Chelmsford: Tell'em Nowt

Two and a quarter lengths separated Vincenzo Coccotti and Tell’em Nowt at Chelmsford last time but this is a case where the form book doesn’t tell the whole story. Vincenzo Coccotti got a good early position and was able to dictate and even gallop. On the other hand Tell’em Nowt was slowly away from a high draw, forced to race wide early and then struggle to find a path through the traffic.

Tell’em Nowt was the fastest closer and covered the final 2f 0.62s quicker than the winner. Under the circumstance he was unlucky and there might be better to come. That was his first race as a gelding and he is unexposed at 6f. He can reverse the placings.
