Catterick Tips: Moorhouse Girl

Has run respectably at a higher level and this looks a very moderate race.

Moorhouse Girl hasn’t had much racing since her debut in 2009 but the fact that connections have persevered with her suggests there is ability lurking somewhere.

She might still be a maiden but the 5.45 Catterick represents the easiest race of her career. It is there first time she will have raced at a class 6 level and there isn’t much to be fearful of in this race.

Her last two performances can be ignored as she got poor starts but prior to that, she ran a respectable fourth in a class 5 handicap at Nottingham. Soft ground shouldn’t be a problem either. At 7/1 (Paddy Power) we are getting a good price on probably the best horse in the race.
