Catterick Tip: The Nifty Fox

Won this race two years ago and deserves to get his head in front again.

The 3.40 at Catterick is a good little sprint where The Nifty Fox can break his losing run. Without a win in 23 attempts, there is nothing ungenuine about the horse - he has just been penalised for his consistency.

Catterick has been good to the horse, and trainer Tim Easterby returns him for a race he won in 2009. The Nifty Fox has won 3 times at the Yorkshire track, by far his best venue. The strong pace and the uphill finish plays to his strengths, with the cut in the ground an added bonus.

This is one of the easiest tasks he has faced in a while and I would be very surprised if he doesn’t go close.
