Catterick Tip: Rux Ruxx
Hasn't been with Tim Easterby long and improving with each run. Fastest closer (by 0.24s) when winning at Carlisle last time out and earned adjusted speed rating of 83.
Rux Ruxx won a decent race for the grade at Carlisle last time out and the question is whether she can make the step up in class. She is 0/3 at this level but she’s only race 13 times in total and should still be improving. There are two factor that lead me to believe she can make the leap.
At Carlisle she was the fastest closer by 0.24s giving her and adjusted speed rating of 83, well above her mark of 73. This is also only her fourth start for Tim Easterby and her new trainer might have unlocked further improvement.
Stall 1 is another positive, although Rux Ruxx is usually held up but there’s enough positives to side with the 4-year-old.
