Catterick Tip: La Haule Lady
Simon Walker is 3/6 when riding for Paul Midgley and in a bad race, has a horse who has shown some ability.
La Haule Lady is a 47-rated maiden and doesn’t exactly scream ‘bet me’ but then nor does anything in a 0-55 handicap on autumnal turf ground.
The good news is that the 3-year-old has at least show a glimmer of ability. Three starts back from a bad draw at Beverley (13/13) she finished a respectable fifth, running the fastest closing sectional by 0.11s in a race where the leaders set a moderate gallop.
In the 5.10 contest she is ably assisted by Mr S Walker, almost a bet in itself given his record in amateur races.
