Catterick Tips: Just Like Heaven

At his best on sharp tracks and ran well at a higher level last season.

Just Like Heaven starts the season well handicapped and he should go close in the 8.40 Catterick, a course where he’s won before.

Tim Easterby’s four-year-old is a real speedball, at his best on sharp tracks. Last season he ran a cracker at York, finishing fourth in a class four handicap before ending the year with a good second at Beverley. He was the only front-runner to feature in the finish, the stiff uphill track probably costing him victory.

Although Just Like Heaven faces competition for the lead this evening, he is receiving weight from all his rivals and at Catterick I’d rather be on the speed than trying to win from off the pace. At 11/1 (Bet365) he should run a good race.
