Carlisle Draw Bias: Five Furlongs

Analysis into the draw bias at the Carlisle five furlong track.

Track: Carlisle Flat Turf
Distance: 5 Furlongs
Stalls: Inside

Summary: Not a heavily used race track but there is a slight bias towards those drawn on the inside. Stalls 1-4 enjoy a 1.28 advantage. Being drawn wider is a disadvantage until stall nine upwards when there is the option to come down the stand’s side rail.
