Brighton Tips: Renoir’s Lady

Should improve after her first outing in three months and has previously run well at the track.

There isn’t much high quality racing around the country today but there is a bit of value to be found in the 2.45 Brighton.

It’s basement level racing, full of infrequent winners but Renoir’s Lady might be a bit better than the rest.

She ran a fair race after a three-month break, finishing six lengths behind Aqua Ardens at Brighton and there is a good chance she will come on for the run as the ground was a bit quick for her that day.

Despite a spell of dry weather, the GoingStick reading at Brighton is 7.9, which suggests the ground has been well watered.

Still unproven at 6f, there is a danger she cannot go the early pace, but the running rail is dolled out by 4yds. This will increase the distances of races today and could make the difference in a moderate contest.
