Brighton Tip: Ocean Temptress
Lit up in first time blinkers at Yarmouth but almost held on after setting overly strong gallop. Should win a race soon.
Ocean Temptress was lit up in first time blinkers at Yarmouth but she almost nicked the race from the front. Her finishing speed was 98.3% of her overall speed, slower than par and indicative of a slight pace collapse but she almost held-on loosing by a short head.
Ocean Temptress is a 14-race maiden but she was the moral victor last time and he adjusted speed rating of 71 was pretty good for a horse rated 57.
I’d prefer to see her taking her chances in a handicap but the 4.30 Brighton is a poor Auction Maiden Stakes and if the first-time visor doesn’t compromise her race, she can win.
