Brighton Tip: My Motivate Girl
Look liked being tailed off on debut at Leicester but came home with a storming run. Fastest closer by 0.83s and earned adjusted speed rating of 79. Plenty to get excited about.
The 2.30 Brighton is a small field but there might actually be some value in playing My Motivate Girl at odds-on. She ran an incredible race on debut at Leicester; slowly into stride she looked like finishing tailed off with still 3f to go. But the penny dropped and she got better and better the more the race went on.
She was eventually only beaten 1.25 lengths having been 8 lengths behind with half the race to run. Her closing sectional was the fastest by 0.83s and she earned a highly respectable adjusted speed rating of 79.
That was all achieved on debut and she should improve bundles for the experience. She has an in-form trainer and jockey onside and not many horses to beat.
