Brighton Tip: Bouncy Bouncy

Soft ground doesn’t inconvenience her and she won the race last year.

Bouncy Bouncy won this race last year and she looks a strong candidate to double up in the 5.00 at Brighton.

With three or four prominent runners, the pace should be very strong. A steep uphill finish at Brighton favours hold-up horses and this race should be won by something coming from off the pace.

The official going is soft, good to soft in places, but a going stick report of 6.0 is the lowest reading at the track since records began in 2007. The ground will be very testing today. That is perfect for Bouncy Bouncy.

Lacking the early pace of the better sprinters, she needs the soft ground to slow down her opponents. She won on soft ground at Yarmouth this season and on good ground at Newbury; although times suggest the going was much softer than the official description.
