Brighton Tip: Bobby’s Doll
Course and distance winner and takes a big drop in grade from her last race.
The 5.30 at Brighton is a weak looking race and I expect Bobby’s Doll to repeat her course and distance winning form. Usually a speedy front-runner, she sat behind the early leader that day showing that she isn’t a one dimensional speedball. With Wotatomboy and Ace Of Spies possible early pace setters it is imperative that Adam Beschizza bides his time.
Trainer Terry Clement saw fit to run Bobby’s Doll in a 0-80 race at Newmarket last time out. Although she finished four lengths behind the winner it was a credible effort considering the company she was racing. Today she reverts to a 0-65 race which is much more her grade.
