Forced to race in class 4 races for the latter part of last season, he drops into a class 5 handicap for the first time since June 2011; which happens to be when he recorded his last win.
He is a horse who appreciates some cut in the ground and has the benefit of a recent run under his belt. His main rivals are either all-weather specialists or coming back from a long break, making him the only viable bet in the race at 9/2 with Paddy Power.
