Brighton Tips: Langley Vale
Struggled to track the early pace over 5f but can recoup losses back at 6f.
Langley Vale finished a disappointing third when I backed him last week but it seems 5f is just too short for him. He struggled to go the early pace and it seemed to blunt his finishing kick.
Returning to 6f and racing in a lower grade, he should be able to recoup losses in the 2.30 Brighton.
He is a previous course and distance winner and recorded a quick time for the grade when winning at Lingfield to starts back. At 7/4 (Paddy Power) he should be given a second chance.
