Big Buck’s is best price 8/13 (Sportingbet) for the World Hurdle after landing his 14th consecutive win.
A third Long Walk Hurdle and a 14th consecutive win was enough for Big Buck’s to shorten even more in the betting for the World Hurdle in March. A 5/6 chance before the weekend, the brilliant staying hurdler is a best price 8/13 with Sportingbet.
Ladbrokes go 4/7 but offer the ‘non-runner no bet’ concession - not terrible value if you are of the opinion he only has to turn up to win.
Over in Ireland, Boston Bob was an impressive winner of the Grade One Novice Hurdle at Navan. He has been cut for both the Neptune (16/1 with Boylesports) and the Albert Bartlett (12/1 with Bet365) Novice Hurdle contests at the Cheltenham Festival.
