Ran a blisteringly fast closing sectional at Carlisle and although third was comfortable the best horse on the day. Has another bad draw to overcome but he's the best horse by some way.
Secret Guest finished third at Carlisle but was clearly the best horse on the day, simply beaten by a wide draw. We have the same dilemma today at Beverley but Bryan Smart’s sprinter is so far above his rivals, he can overcome the handicap of stall 12.
At Carlisle his closing sectional was 0.53s quicker than anything else in the race and he earned an impressive adjusted speed rating of 71. Nothing in this field can touch him on speed ratings and with plenty of debutants Graham Lee might be able to use his mount’s experience to get a reasonable position at the expense of the newbies.
